BUKIT SAGA LEISURE HIKE

Bukit Saga located in Cheras Awana with the height of 410 metre
This is the road side parking.

This hill is suitable for beginners with only 1km in distance to the top which is quite easy.
For those who is looking for more extreme hill type running regime, i would recommend that you extend the route a little bit further to Bukit Apek which is another 3 to 4km.
Bukit Saga and Bukit Apek are adjacent to each other with a total route of 5km in distance if I'm not mistaken.
Entrance to Bukit Apek may also from another part of Cheras.
It was also my training ground for my Gunung Tahan and Trans Titiwangsa which I did earlier this year.

This is the view from the road side parking. Most of the cars will park here. The entrance will be on your left.

For more easy navigation on the entrance location, you may try searching for this apartment Rumah Pangsa Saga.

The signboard directing to the entrance which is behind the parked motorbike

Following the arrow about 10 metres will lead you here. A small parking area and a construction site.

This is the entrance. Left and right are the deforestation to make way for a new highway named s.u.k.e

The sign error in spelling indicate 'trail B'. Just follow the trail.
Previously, Bukit Saga entrance was from other section of the housing area about 1km. The previous trail have 3 routes known as trail A, B and C. But now we have only trail B. But you may retrack back these trails when you reach the top which is quite confusing and I'm not going to write about it.

Please turn to your left, though there is a trail straight, it will lead you nowhere.

This is the view to our entrance, the Kuala Lumpur city centre is in the background

After 10 minutes of hike, this is the view. Left is the apartment where I came just now

Kl city centre

The trail conditions : dry

This is the final climb, straight up..

Yup, the distance is only 1km. Less than 30 minutes hike. Very easy.

From the summit, you may opt to proceed further to Bukit Apek. Which is indicate by Cuepacs direction signboard.

The facilities here are hammock, exercise tools, bench, etc.

Overall, I would recommend hiking bukit saga with family or friends who want to develop fitness and maintain their health.

Or
For your training regime or secret training, just do it in loops. 3 times up and down will give you 6km of pure torture. Good luck.
