Bukit Buloh aka Red Forest - Jerantut, Pahang

Another hike at Jerantut after Bukit Seladang hike.
We met a lot of hikers here who we met at Bukit Seladang this morning.
Yes, hikers who hiked Bukit Seladang were also choose Bukit Buloh as second hill when in Jerantut.

GPS coordinate at the top of this photo

Summary of Hike
Distance - 1.2km in 40 minutes (one way)
2.5km in 1 hour 32 minutes (return) - it depends on how long you will be spending your time resting, taking photos at the top. No need to hurry la, taking photo is important.

Open space for carpark, few hundreds meter from the trailhead.
The trailhead is at the arrow sign

This is the trailhead

from the main road - to the right

The trailhead location is in the middle of 2 lanes road leading towards Kuala Tahan. Its an palm oil estate. You may park your car at the roadside.

Bukit Buloh or Red Forest got its name maybe from the red colour of trees that are thriving at the top of the hill. Its a rare phenomenon. The red colour tree also can be found at Bukit Batu Sawa, Negeri Sembilan but not as many as in red forest.

Give it a try, its only 1.2km to the top. The inclination is not as crazy as Bukit Seladang.

Sorry, these foto below are in random order. Just follow the trail
